21 Florida Shirts to Keep the Sunshine State Shining!
Some of our favorite states have been going through quite a rough patch this year. First, Texas had to deal with Hurricane Harvey, and now Florida is being visited by his cousin, Irma. And what’s worse, it may be followed by two more storms in close succession. I’m hoping some disperse or lessen in intensity. But as of my writing this, Florida is bracing for the worst.
The irony of these storms is that Florida is nicknamed the sunset state. Next to my own residence of California, it is one of people’s favorite warm weather vacation sites. Beyond a doubt, Disney World is one of the most popular vacation destinations in the world. And not too far from there is Univeral Studios theme park, which I actually like better than the one here in Los Angeles.
But outsides of amusement parks, Florida has some of the best spots for fun and relaxing vacations. Spring break became a thing of legends thank to Ft. Lauderdale. And Miami is a always a party waiting to happen. Just add water. And one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever visited in this country was Key West.
I could go on and on about fun beach areas (Marco Island, St. Petersburg), cool places (Cape Canaveral, The Everglades) and popular foods (oranges, cuban sandwiches). There’s so much diversity there. Yeah, there’s a lot of retired folks and snow birds, but there’s lots of awesome clubs and cool art scenes. So Florida has to stand strong, there’s more fun to be had! And hey, if they can deal with alligators and some of the biggest bugs I’ve even seen, they can handle anything.
