19 Springfield Brand Shirts from The Simpsons
Believe it or not, this Fall kicks off the 29th Season of The Simpsons. Including the shorts from the Tracey Ullman show, the characters have been in existence for well over thirty years. And with over 600 half hour episodes and one movie under its belt, The Simpsons has created a world all its own.
It’s tough to hear the word Springfield without thinking about the hometown of The Simpsons. We all know Moe’s Tavern, the Kwik-E-Mart and Lard Lad Donuts (“He came to life. Good for him.”) And we are all familiar with some of the brands in their world: Krusty Burger, Buzz Cola and Duff Beer (“Can’t get enough of the wonderful duff.”)
And those are just the most ofter sited brands and stores in the land of The Simpsons. Over the decades, it has made references large and small to products and places in their world. Some were just passing jokes like Bovine University. Others, like the tomacco, were the subject of an entire episode.
Besides that, there are albums like Sax on the Beach by Bleeding Gums Murphy, great local infotainment shows like Eye on Springfield, and let’s not forget little Vicki Valentine’s dance school. Tapa! Tapa! Tapa!
So for you ultimate Simpson’s fans, there’s nothing better than wearing a shirt showing off one of these brands. A Kwik-E-Mart shirt is sure to get a laugh and some comment. But if you really want to dig deep into fandom, check out the Stoner’s Pot Palace T-Shirt.
I dug up a nice mix of well-known Simpsons brands and a few lesser known ones. They’re sure to spark great conversations with other Simpsons fans. Thank you! Come again!
