17 Literature T-Shirts That Are Literally Literate
If you’re an avid reader like myself, you probably have certain types of books that you like to read at certain times of year. For me, summer is usually when I want to read something a little lighter: main stream fiction, something funny, something that will entertain while sitting at the beach or by the pool. But now that summer is turning to autumn, I find myself turning my attention to more classic literature.
Maybe that’s because it reminds me of back to school time. And though it’s been many years since I attended school, as a bookwork, I remember the excitement of reading those new literature syllabi and getting excited about all the great classic books I’d be reading that semester. Hey, I already admitted I was a book nerd!
And with Autumn comes Halloween, so the reading my get a little darker, like Sleepy Hollow, Kafka’s the Metamorphosis or the classic works of Bram Stoker and Mary Shelly. Or Mr. Salem himself, Nathaniel Hawthorne. But there is also something nice of sitting in a park on a chilly afternoon reading the likes of Jane Austen. Or the nature themed poetry of Robert Frost.
There’s nothing getting lost in the world of classic literature. To feel connected with a time long past (it is true when they say a book is like a TARDIS). So while your wrapping yourself in a new/old book, why not wrap yourself in a cool literary t-shirts as well. (You can wear them over a thermal shirt on those chilly autumn movies).
I’ve picked out some of my favorites. Hope they’re yours, too!
